Katie holds a PhD in school psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Katie has worked in various settings, including outpatient, public school, and therapeutic school environments. Katie is interested in working with kids and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and families that have experienced trauma.
Katie embodies a trauma-informed approach to therapy by cultivating relationships that are grounded in trust and respect and by adapting therapy to meet clients where they are. Through therapy, Katie aims to empower clients to navigate challenges and get their needs met. As a school psychologist, Katie is also passionate about supporting families in navigating school systems and advocating for children’s needs.
When she is not working, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking, and viewing live music.
