Description:

Monday Recovery is a recovery-based group for those who are interested in utilizing a harm reduction perspective to manage their substance use behaviors. Participants will learn skills and look at behaviors to make informed decisions and choices regarding substance use. This is an open format group, so members may join at any point.

Mindfulness is a group for people who have finished the Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) group and want to continue to develop their mindfulness practice.

Date/Time: Thursdays at 1:00 PM-2:30 PM

Description:
Rainbow Recovery is a recovery group grounded in self-exploration in the areas of mental health, safety, substance use, wellness, identity exploration, community, and other topics as needed. Open to adults with mental health and/or substance use concerns. This is an open format group, so members may join at any point.

Group Name: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills 

Date/Time: Thursdays at 12:00 PM -2:30 PM

Description:

  • Impulsive behaviors
  • Balance emotions
  • Foster assertiveness
  • Assist in maintaining or creating healthy relationships

Group Name: Behavioral Activation

Date/Time: Thursdays at 10 AM-11 AM 

Venue: 49 Kessel Ct., Madison, WI or Virtual (TBD based on participant needs)

Description:

For those that struggle with mental health concerns associated with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, substance use, and/or executive functioning. Participants will engage in self-monitoring to better understand the connection between their feelings and their behaviors.  The main goal of the group is to learn new skills to increase motivation to do difficult tasks and increase consumer ability to notice positive impact on emotions with even small accomplishments.
