Inspiring Events. Vital Mission. Real Impact.

Every May, we bring our community together for conversations that matter. Through education, storytelling, fundraising, and a little fun along the way, Mental Health Awareness Month helps break down stigma and remind people that they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

2026 EVENT RECAP

Mental Health Awareness Month 2026 brought hundreds of community members together through education, advocacy, storytelling, and fundraising. From Drag Bingo and youth mental health discussions to professional education and an inspiring conversation with Olympian Molly Seidel, each event helped spark meaningful conversations and strengthen connections throughout our community.

WHY THIS MONTH MATTERS...

Turning Awareness Into Action

Mental Health Awareness Month is more than a national campaign. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together - to reduce stigma, expand access to care, and support the mental health services thousands of individuals and families rely on each year.

At Journey, May means opening doors to conversation, education, and critical fundraising that sustains therapy, crisis care, and school-based programs across Dane County.

The impact we make in May is only possible when our community shows up - together.
