Description: We know that Wisconsin is known for a higher rate of alcohol use and DUIs. In 2024, Wisconsin had the highest rate of heavy drinking among U.S. states, with approximately 24.3% of adults engaging in heavy drinking. Factors contributing to this rate include cultural norms, availability of alcohol, and social influences.
